In a boost to India-US bilateral defence and military ties, both countries signed defence pact BECA at the 2+2 meet in New Delhi on October 27, 2020.

The inking of BECA completes the finalisation of four key pacts between India and the US, which were identified as crucial to significantly expand the strategic relationship.
