A day after 61 people died in a suicide attack, India and Pakistan solemnly lowered their national flags at the Beating Retreat ceremony at the Wagah border.
India’s home ministry had said that it had suspended the ceremony for three days as a mark of respect for those who had perished in the attack.
However, later Pakistani officials decided to go ahead with the ceremony.
