Delhiites woke up to a clear morning on Wednesday after a day of heavy fog, even as the minimum temperature dropped by over two degree Celsius.
Air travellers were the most relieved by the clear conditions, as flight operations, which were suspended for three hours on Tuesday due to heavy fog, were normal.
However, train services continued to be disrupted due to foggy conditions in other parts of the country. Four trains - the Delhi-Farukkabad Kalindi Express, Ambala-Allahabad Unchahar Express, Delhi-Sealdah Lal Quila Express and Delhi-Muzaffarpur Sadbhavna Express were cancelled, a Northern Railway statement said.
Also, several trains were running behind schedule. While the Katihar-Delhi Mahananda Express was running 28 hours late, the Sultanpur-Delhi Sadbhavna Express was 13 hours behind schedule, the statement said.
Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 5.8 degree Celsius, as against yesterday's low of eight degree Celsius.
