Days after quizzing Sunanda Pushkar's son Shiv Menon in connection with her mysterious death, Delhi police's SIT will be further questioning former Union minister Shashi Tharoor on Thursday.

"The witnesses who have been examined so far, we are analysing their statements and few other witnesses will be examined today. On Thursday, Tharoor will be quizzed again because we need clarification on certain points from him," Delhi Police Commissioner B S Bassi told media persons on Wednesday.

Asked whether Tharoors' domestic help Narayan Singh will also be questioned again, Bassi said, "The witnesses who were at home or were present at the hotel, there are few clarifications which need to be obtained from them too."

"There are many things emerging from

the analysis of the statements so far but we will be able to reach a conclusion only after the investigation is over," he added.

Menon was questioned by the Special Investigation Team on February 5.

The police team probing the case has questioned at least 15 people. Tharoor, a Congress MP, his staff members and close friends were among those quizzed by Delhi police.

Former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh and senior journalist Nalini Singh, too, have been questioned by police.

52-year-old Sunanda was found dead in her suite at a five star hotel in south Delhi on the night of January 17, 2014, a day after she was involved in a spat with Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar on micro-blogging website twitter over the latter's alleged affair with Tharoor.

Police had last month filed a murder case as part of its probe.
