The Delhi Police claimed to have arrested a "key man" of Lashkar-e-Tayiba operating in India and Nepal, on Thursday.
Mohammed Omar Madni was caught by Delhi Police's anti-terror wing's 'Special Cell' on Thursday evening from a locality near the Qutub Minar in south Delhi's Mehrauli locality.
"We caught him this evening after receiving an input from intelligence agencies. He is a key operative in India and Nepal," Joint Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) P N Aggarwal told PTI.
The official said they were interrogating Madni for details about his operations. Last year, the Delhi Police had arrested 20 terrorists besides killing two. They also recovered 3.1 kg RDX, six pistols, five electronic detonators, Pakistani currency, a car, 12 mobile phones and two laptops.
