Plenary Day 2: PM to speak on corruption today

Last updated on: December 20, 2010 10:12 IST

Second day of the Congress plenary at New Delhi will pass two crucial resolutions on Monday.

Sources in the party say that the resolutions to be passed will deal with international terrorism and on economic issues.

The party had drawn flak for some quarters for the resolution it had adopted in which there was no mention of international terrorism. The resolution had revolved more around tackling 'saffron terror.'

In addition to this the party had also attacked the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha and the Bharatiya Janata Party.

The crucial resolutions will be passed after Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh will address the plenary. The Congressmen at the venue expect him to speak on rising corruption and other economical issues.
