Kenya Airways crash: Govt to help victims' kin

Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel on Sunday said the government will extend all help to the relatives of the victims of a Kenyan Airlines flight that crashed with 14 Indians on board.

"Our embassy in Kenya has been told to extend assistance to the relatives," the minister added.

There were 14 Indians in the Nairobi-bound aircraft carrying 114 people on board when it crashed in Cameroon.

According to the External Affairs Ministry release, the passengers on the flight from Doula to Nairobi have been identified as: Nigli Shirly, Nigili Kewin Joseph J, Kocherry George Joseph, Maria Joseph, Manuel Gracey, Gaur Aman, Prakam Sundaraman, Bhagya Madhusudhan, Poojitha Madhusudhan, Madhusudhan Madhu, Ruby Mary, Shah, Chauhan L S and Gireesan Nalkath.
