A private complaint has been filed against Sirajudin Pasha, who had filed a complaint against B S Yeddyurappa that led to the former Karnataka chief minister's arrest.

The complaint against Pasha was filed before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate in which it was alleged that he had produced forged documents.

The court, while taking cognisance of the complaint, directed the police to investigate the matter. In the complaint, it was stated that Pasha had relied on forged documents to file the case against B S Yeddyurappa and others.

The police have started their probe and will file a FIR soon.

Pasha had filed a complaint before Karnataka Governor H R Bharadwaj, stating that Yeddyurappa and 21 others had denotified land in a bid to show favour. He claimed that this was illegal since the denotification was done by misusing his power as the chief minister.

The governor had accorded sanction to the Lokayukta court to prosecute Yeddyurappa, who had been arrested three weeks ago.

Meanwhile, a FIR was filed against Industries Minister Murugesh Nirani in connection with a case of land de-notification.
