Members of Parliament from the Dravida Munnettra Kazhagam have threatened to forcefully occupy the office of Telugu Desam Party inside Parliament house next week.

The DMK Lok Sabha MP's have been complaining that though they are major allies in the United Progressive Alliance with 18 MPs, while the TDP has 5, they don't have a spacious office inside the Parliament house.

DMK leader T R Baalu is on Thursday expected to raise the issue in the all-party meeting. Baalu has accused Speaker Meira Kumar and Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Pawan Kumar Bansal of injustice. Baalu had on Tuesday Tuesday even conveyed his displeasure to Speaker Meira Kumar and Secretary General T K Viswanathan.

The General Purposes Committee in July 2009 allotted DMK space on the ground floor of Parliament House, which is under the control of Telugu Desam Party. However, in spite of several reminders TDP has not vacated the room.
