September 06, 2011 16:18 IST

A day after recreating the murder scene at slain Madhya Pradesh Right To Information activist Shehla Masood's residence in Koh-E-Fiza locality, the Central Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday searched her office premises in MP Nagar area, looking for clues.

"The search is on at present in her office and when it ends, we will inform details about it," CBI sources said.

On Monday, investigators found a pendant from the activist's car and also came to know that calls were made/received from her mobile even after her death, sources said.

However, a senior police official said that since they have handed over the entire case to the CBI for probe, he would be able to share any details. He said that normally a mobile phone takes 48 hours to clone and during that period if somebody had called on that number or SMS-ed then definitely it will come on record.

Earlier, the police had also recovered a gold chain from her body and possibly this particular pendant may be the part of it, sources said.

Shehla was shot dead on August 16 outside her house in Bhopal.
