Hours after Prime Minister Manmohan Singh announced the second Cabinet reshuffle of the present United Progressive Alliance government, Dravida Munnettra Kazhagam chief M. Karunanidhi on Tuesday said the reshuffle is not complete yet.

"The reshuffle is not complete yet. I will comment on it after a formal announcement," he told mediapersons in Chennai.

Karunanidhi further said he would take a decision on issues related to the Centre and ministries in the DMK general council meeting.

The prime minister's Cabinet reshuffle didn't introduce any replacements for the two DMK ministers A Raja and Dayanidhi Maran, who have tendered their resignations following charges of corruption.

Responding to a question on whether he had discussed the Cabinet berth issue, which was recently vacated by DMK ministers A Raja and Dayanidhi Maran, Karunanidhi said he had discussed the issue only with Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee.

The DMK chief met Pranab Mukherjee in Chennai on July 9 to discuss the Cabinet reshuffle.

Maran, who resigned from the Union Cabinet on July 7 after coming under the Supreme Court's scanner in the 2G scam, is the third DMK leader under scrutiny after lawmaker Kanimozhi and former Union telecom minister A Raja were arrested for their alleged role in the 2G scam.
