Bulgarian Prime Minister Sergei Stanishev on Thursday visited the satellite centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation in Bangalore, where officials of the agency made a presentation on the country's space programme.

According to ISRO's Programme Director (International Cooperation), Jacob Ninan, Stanishev was shown the satellite integration facility. Ninan said India's unmanned moon mission Chandrayaan-I slated for next year would carry a payload by the Bulgaria Academy of Science.

Earlier, the Bulgarian prime minister was accorded a warm welcome at the airport when he arrived from New Delhi. Stanishev's engagements this week include a visit to the campus of Infosys Technologies Limited.
