Awards for Mumbai flood heroes

What: The Citizens Action Group invites nominations for Bravery Awards instituted honour those who lost their lives while trying to save people during the recent floods in Mumbai.

CAG is set up by the government of Maharashtra under the Vision Mumbai project.

Selection method

The panel, comprising the following personalities, will scrutinise the nominations for the awards:

  • Alyque Padamsee, advertising and theatre personality
  • Dr Rupa Shah, vice chancellor, SNDT Women's University
  • Wing Commander Vijay Mahajan, chief executive officer, Bombay First
  • Mr Nanik Rupani, industrialist

~ If you know of someone who has displayed acts of heroism, you are requested to contact Bombay First.
