Black flags waved at Rahul's rally in Sonbhadra

January 21, 2012 19:09 IST

Two youths on Saturday raised black flags and shouted slogans against corruption when Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi was addressing a poll rally in tribal-dominated Duddhi in Sonbhadra on Saturday.

Soon after their act, they were beaten up by some people attending the Adivasi Sashaktikaran Dhanyawad rally.

Police detained one of the youths Ajay Kumar Singh, who is said to be the supporter of yoga guru Ramdev.

This is the second such incident in the last couple of days. On Thursday, Rahul had to abruptly end his speech at a rally in Banda after some youths demonstrated with banners and posters demanding bringing back of black money stashed abroad.
