Bihar State Vigilance Investigation Bureau on Thursday filed a charge sheet against former Patna district magistrate Gautam Goswami and 10 others in connection with the multi-crore flood relief scam.
The vigilance team, led by superintendent of police Ashok Kumar Singh, filed the charge sheet against Goswami and others before the vigilance court.
Besides Goswami, names of alleged kingpin of the scam Santosh Kumar Jha and additional district magistrate Basudeo Prasad were also named in the charge sheet.
Goswami, who did not attend court earlier in the day when his judicial custody was extended till September 7, was produced in the court during filing of the charge sheet.
Besides Goswami, Jha, Prasad and eight other accused were present in the court.
In the 150-page charge sheet, the vigilance team said they had 'sufficient' evidence against all the 11 accused in the defalcation of a huge amount of money meant for relief for the flood-hit people of North Bihar in 2004.
Goswami, Jha and all other accused are currently lodged in jail.
