A fortnight after president's rule was imposed in Bihar, Governor Buta Singh said he would be holding 'Janata Durbar' to discuss the problems of common people.
State Chief Secretary K A H Subramanian told rediff.com on Wednesday that Buta Singh has decided to meet people once a week on a specified day to listen to their grievances.
The Janata Durbars are likely to begin next week.
Subramanian, who was appointed acting advisor pending formal appointment of advisors by the Centre, said that a complaint cell would also start functioning at Raj Bhavan soon.
An officer of the rank of joint secretary will head the cell to attend to petitions from the public .
Subramanian said the government would advertise the schedule for the Janata Durbar soon.
