Yet another schoolboy goes missing in Patna

Yet another school boy, the fourth is the past two weeks, has gone missing in Bihar.

Sumit Kumar, a class VII student of St. Paul Public School in Patna, left for school on Tuesday morning, but has not returned since.

Officer in-charge of Mehdiganj police station, Uday Pratap Singh, said efforts are on to trace the boy.

Senior Superintendent of Police N H Khan said he has asked Deputy Superintendent of Police (Patna city) to investigate the case and take immediate steps to locate the boy.

Sumit's disappearance in another case in a spate of kidnappings involving school children in Bihar in the last two weeks.

Kislay Kaushal, a Delhi Public School student in Patna, was kidnapped when he was boarding his school bus on Monday.

Deepak Kumar, a student of DAV Public School in Bhagalpur, has been missing since Tuesday evening.

Ravi Kant, a student of Class IX in DAV Public School in Biharsharif town in Nalanda district, is also missing.
