Bigg Boss 4 row: Sena bandh in Lonavala

October 11, 2010 09:51 IST

A bandh called by the Shiv Sena to protest against the inclusion of two Pakistani participants in the hit reality TV show 'Bigg Boss 4', has started in Lonavala where the show set is located.

Sena spokesperson Neelam Gorhe said despite demands by the party, the Colors channel did not remove the two Pakistani participants -- Veena Malik and Begum Nawazish Ali -- from the show.

"Pune District Collector has also served a show cause notice to television channel Colors, asking why the show should not be stopped as it was creating law and order issues at Lonavala," she said.

Sena workers will demonstrate at Lonavala on Monday and hold a procession to demand removal of Pakistani actors from the show, she said.

Malik is a Pakistani model and former girlfriend of cricketer Mohammed Asif, and Begum Nawazish Ali is a cross dressing host of a popular chat show in Pakistan.
