The Bangalore police has sent a team to Andhra Pradesh to hunt down the ATM attacker who is said to have committed a similar crime and killed a woman there.

The absconding man had attacked a woman at an ATM in the Ananthpur district in Andhra Pradesh and stolen two ATM cards from her on November 11. The woman later succumbed to injuries at a hospital.

Later that week he came to Bangalore and brutally assaulted a woman at an ATM. He stole three cards from her and also a mobile phone which he sold later for Rs 500.

The police managed to arrest the person who purchased the phone but did not get any leads from him.
