Abdul Aziz, an Islamic militant, has been sentenced to eight years in jail in connection with the Bali bombings of 2006.

Aziz was convicted of harbouring the mastermind behind the 2005 bombing, Noordin Top, before the suicide attacks.

The bombings on October 1, 2005, in three crowded restaurants in Indonesia's most popular resort island killed more than 20 tourists.
