Four Babbar Khalsa terrorists arrested in Chandigarh

Four Babbar Khalsa terrorists were arrested in Chandigarh Tuesday morning, a day after three militants of the outfit, including its India operations chief, were taken into custody in Delhi.

Dilbagh Singh, Sukhvinder Singh (alias Bullet), Balbir Singh (alias Nepali) and Ranjit Singh were arrested from Sector 11 in Chandigarh, Senior Superintendent of Police Gaurav Yadav told PTI.

One kilogram RDX, one AK-47 assault rifle and a 1.38 bore rifle were recovered from them, he said.

Delhi Police Monday arrested three Babbar Khalsa terrorists, including its India operations chief Paramjit Singh Bheora, who was involved in the assassination of Punjab chief minister Beant Singh.

Bheora and his associates Jasbir Singh and Bhupinder Singh had planned to set up a hideout in Delhi.

Four kg RDX, three detonators, a wireless set, one timer, three Star make pistols, 39 live cartridges and a stolen car were recovered from them.
