The riots victims who were displaced from Kutba village and rehabilitated in Palda village said that if police fails to arrest the riots accused till September 7, they would start an agitation by staging a dharna outside the police outpost on September 8 to press for their demands.

The riot victims, who were protesting outside their colony at Palda village in the district, said that the Special Investigation Team had identified the accused in Kutba killing case but the police had failed to arrest them. Eight persons, including a woman were killed and several injured and their houses burnt by rioters at Kutba village under Shapur police station in the district on September 8, 2013.
