India has tried, through three military flag meetings and through diplomatic channels, to get China to vacate the area.
China insists it has not intruded into Indian territory.
Defence minister A K Antony, External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid and Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde were present at the meeting that was chaired by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
