AP CM K Rosaiah may go, to be named Governor

Last updated on: November 10, 2010 15:11 IST

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah may be shifted as Governor of Karnataka or Madhya Pradesh on account of his fragile health.

Highly-placed political sources in Delhi confirmed such a move and also confirmed that Rosaiah has been alerted on Wednesday morning, about a possible shift to a Raj Bhavan.

Considering his fragile health, New Delhi has given him

an option. Rosaiah appreciates the stand of party and also knows his predicament.

Rosaiah has given good administration for the past one year -- effectively handling the flood situation, politically containing Jagan Reddy and violence in the Telangana region.

Shifting of Rosaiah would mean a new chief minister for Andhra Pradesh, most likely by mid-November, party sources says.
