A report has been submitted to the Human Resource Development Ministry by the B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology on the recent suicide of a first year student after being subjected to ragging.
The report was submitted to G L Jambulkar, Deputy Education Advisor, on Monday, Registrar of the Institute K K Dheer said Tuesday.
The report is understood to have mentioned that 10 students of the institute have been expelled in the Amit suicide case, NIT sources said.
Amit, a first year student of the institute, committed suicide after being subjected to humiliation following ragging by his seniors.
