Ambani worth over Rs 213 crore

Reliance Group Vice-Chairman Anil Ambani, who filed his nomination as a Samajwadi Party-backed independent candidate for the Rajya Sabha election from Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, has houses and plots worth Rs 7.39 crore.

His investments in shares and bonds stand at Rs 86.22 crore.

Ambani has bank deposits worth Rs 80.63 lakh and cash amounting to Rs 4.13 lakh, according to the declaration made by him at the time of filing his nomination in Lucknow.

His ornaments, including loose diamonds, are worth Rs 27.21 crore and other assets like furniture, family trusts and silver utensils are worth Rs 89.68 crore.

His LIC and NSS deposits are worth Rs 2.31 crore.

Ambani's wife Tina Ambani, according to the declaration, has shares to the tune of Rs 76.79 crore, jewellery worth Rs 64.80 crore and property worth Rs 1.16 crore.

His two sons also have substantial jewellery and stakes in shares and mutual funds.

Ambani has three cases against him of which two are under the Companies Act and one under the Bihar Shops and Establishment Act.
