Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh will visit Pakistan in March, an official source said on Friday.
Singh, along with a team of industrialists and senior functionaries, will lay the foundation stone of the Nankana Sahib-Wagah highway on March 16.
The highway will enable the completion of the journey from Wagah to Sri Nankana Sahib, the birthplace of Guru Nanak Dev, in less than two hours.
During the visit, the chief minister will meet representatives of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry to discuss the possibilities of trade and business between the two Punjabs on either side of the border.
