Around 5 to 6 Union Ministers may accompany Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his 2-day visit to his parliamentary constituency Varanasi from November 7.

Giving details of security arrangements, IG (law and order) A Satish Ganesh, told reporters that there was possibility that five to six Union Ministers may accompany Modi.

He said that though no official list has been received, there was possibility that ministers related to schemes which Modi has launched may accompany PM.

Modi will arrive in Varanasi on a two-day visit, starting from November 7, during which he is likely to discuss a plan of adopting a village from his constituency under the MP Model Village Scheme.

This will be PM Modi's first visit to his Lok Sabha constituency since assuming the top post.

Earlier, the prime minister was expected to visit Varanasi on October 14 and 15 but it was postponed due to cyclone 'Hudhud'.

According to the last night's PMO letter to the Varanasi district administration, Modi will arrive at Lal Bahadur Shastri airport from New Delhi on November 7 at 9.35 am.

The prime minister will make a night stay at LD Guest House of Banaras Hindu University and in the next morning of November 8, he will leave for New Delhi from the Varanasi airport at 10.55 am, said Additional District Magistrate (protocol) O P Chaubey.

A final schedule of PM's program is still awaited from the PMO here and is expected to reach by on Thursday, added Chaubey.
