Reason: For me, they represent India. And how India and its politicians were unkind to them. They were butchered by a country who owe us their freedom. A befitting reply would have been a strong message not to mess with our country and it would have been the best tribute to those jawans who laid down their lives, but our own peace-loving netas didnt budge an inch so as not to trouble their 'sister'. They never cared when these brave and undemanding jawans are murdered and mutilated, but they started raising war noises when their own forts were attacked and their own lives were under threat. Those netas are the scourge of our nation and I wouldnt mind some of them being killed in that Parliament attack save for that symbol of our democracy.

Reason: When bollywood keeps giving run of the mill song and dance nonsense with supposedly superstars, here is the man who not only rewrote box-office history with Gadar but actually gave All Indians something to cheer about and hope for better with Gadar and Indian. He also brought back to life the tragedies of partition with his natural and super real acting, something which has never been told to current generations of Indians... Sunny certainly deserves to be the man of the year for making us believe in India and also making us part of partition history...
