Let's look at what he's achieved (and I just can't see anyone anywhere near him) :
Situation-2 chief ministers+set of politicians out to release terrorists..becoz Veerappan had kidnapped Rajakumar. They cared for nothing else but their bloody careers. All of us watched quietly (we always do, we are indifferent cowards) as India buckled under pressure from one mustachoed brigand.
Abdul Kareem was the only guy to have guts enough to stick to his view in front of the whole world and oppose the proposal to release the TNLA terrorists. He lives in Bangalore i.e. proximity to both Veerappan and fan-club of Rajkumar, both of whom are hostile parties. But nothing stopped him from teaching the whole country a lesson : stick to your principles come what may...never be a coward.
