Message:Mother Teresa is like the rare gem who shone brightly in spite of surrounding herself voluntarily by the darkness of other's lives. I hail her as a very courageous woman who took such big challenges and responsibilities, and served them as the purpose of her life. Words can't express her greatness.

Message:Mother was one of the few Indians who touched the lives of thousands of needy people. It is difficult for people like you and me to fathom her greatness. For that, one should have had direct contact with her, like the thousands of unfortunate souls she touched and soothed. Only once in a lifetime does one get to know such a personality. We are lucky to be living in the same era that Mother lived. As our PM Gujral so aptly said, our nation has known two great souls this century. Gandhiji in the first half, and Mother Teresa in the second. May her soul rest in peace.

Message: She was a very great person, in fact we only get people like her once every 100 years or so. I belive she is as great as Mahatma Gandhi. She deserves the same respect. I hope people don't just remember Mother as a person in history books. If people truly believe in her then they should keep her work going, and hopefully even help it become bigger. Mother did a lot for humanity, and should be given the highest respect from all nations across the world. THE WORLD WILL MISS HER A LOT.

Message:I consider myself lucky to exist in this world and in the same century as Mother. When she could adopt and feed millions of orphans and destitutes, can't we just do the same for at least one? If each one of us follow the principle of "have one and adopt one, " that will be the best homage we can pay to the Greatest of all mothers. Also that will be the best solution for many of the problems existing in the present world.

Message:It is very rare that a human being devotes his or her life in the service of fellow human beings without expecting any reward. Mother Teresa is a very rare exception. Whatever one may say about her faith and the Christian missionary zeal of proselytisation etc, her bountiful love for the sick and the poorest of society will always stand out. May her soul rest in peace.
