Vinay Sitapati, a lawyer and political journalist, has been a keen observer of the anti-corruption movement spearheaded by activist Anna Hazare. He has written a number of articles on the support for Hazare’s movement, its ramifications on the Indian democracy and the impact it may have on the government and the urban middle class.
Sitapati is a former alumni of National Law School, Bangalore and Harvard Law School. He is currently pursuing his PhD at Princeton University and has written extensively for the Economic & Political Weekly, Times of India, The Hindu, The Indian Express, The Harvard Crimson and The Daily Princetonian.
