The Andhra Pradesh government heaved a sigh of relief on Friday over the Telangana [Images] agitation with the Supreme Court staying the high court order which directed paramilitary forces to be moved out of Osmania university, nerve-centre of the Telangana agitation.
The apex court also directed the state home secretary to ensure the safety of students and supervise deployment of paramilitary forces till February 23, when the matter will be next taken up by it.
