"We are on a mission to kill the president of the United States."

That is what Daniel James Murray told the manager of Zion's First National Bank in St. George in Utah, United States, according to an ABC News report. The authorities have now launched a manhunt for Murray and a warrant has been issued for his arrest, says the report.

Though Murray's whereabouts are unknown, he originally hails from New York, says a report by the huffingtonpost.com.

Murray, who opened a savings account of $85,000 on May 19, told bank employees, "With all this mess going on under President Obama with banks and the economy, I'm sure if citizens happen to lose their money, they will rise up and we could see killing and deaths," according to ABC News.

He came back eights days later to withdraw $12,698, but without proper identifications. He reportedly threatened the bank manager, saying, "If I don't get this money, someone is going to die."

After the bank manager approved the transaction, Murray told him, "We are on a mission to kill the president of the United States," says ABC News.

According to a compliant filed in the federal court in Salt Lake City, Murray told the bank teller, "I have traveled thousands of miles to be here and know things that are going to happen. The banking system will fail and people will die. There will be chaos in the world."

The complaint adds that Murray withdrew the remaining money on May 28 and closed his account.

The huffingtonpost.com reports that Murray is believed to have visited California, Utah, Georgia, Oklahoma and Texas recently.

ABC News adds that according to the complaint, Murray has at least eight firearms registered to him.

However, the Secret Service refused to comment on the matter.
