Wishing Prime Minister Manmohan Singh [Images] a speedy recovery, Congress president Sonia Gandhi [Images] on Tuesday said he was recovering well from his surgery and "we want him to get back to work soon".
"The whole country has prayed for him and he is recovering quickly," said Gandhi.
"We want him to recover fast and take on his duties," she said.
Singh, who underwent a coronary by-pass surgery on January 24, was recovering fast and had breakfast with his wife and daughters at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi [Images] today, his media adviser Deepak Sandhu said.
