The Congress on Wednesday asked the Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa [Images] to prove his secular credentials by banning the right wing Sri Rama Sene.

Speaking after launching the party's "Vijay Deeksha" (taking a vow to ensure Congress victory) for the coming Lok
Sabha polls at Mudipu, about 12 kms from Mangalore, Karnataka pradesh Congress committee president R V Deshpande demanded that Yeddyurappa apologise to the state's people for the attack on a Mangalore pub.

The Srirama Sene could unleash terror with BJP's support, he charged.
