Seeking to dismiss the claims of All India Congress Committee General Secretary Margaret Alva, party leader Rahul Gandhi [Images] on Tuesday said that he was 'not unhappy' with the ticket distribution in the assembly elections.

"As general secretary of the Youth Congress, I just make some recommendations as far as younger boys are concerned, that's all. I am not unhappy with the ticket distribution," Gandhi told reporters.

Margaret Alva offers to resign from AICC

Gandhi, who is AICC general secretary in-charge of Youth Congress and National Students' Union of India, evaded a reply on whether Alva had committed breach of discipline by making allegations of sale of party tickets in the Karnataka assembly elections.

His statement assumes significance as it has come in the backdrop of reports that Rahul was unhappy with ticket distribution.
