PUCL calls for immediate release of Binayak Sen

Activists of the People's Union for Civil Liberties have called for the immediate release of Binayak Sen, a social worker.
The activists urged the government to allow him to travel to the United States to receive the Jonathan Mann Award for Global Health and Human Rights.
They called for the central government's intervention in the matter.
