The death toll in cyclone-ravaged Myanmar has climbed to 22,464.
About 41,000 people are still reported to be missing.
Meanwhile, the European Commission will provide a 2 million Euro aid package for victims of the Myanmar cyclone and said on May 6, that the priority was to give people shelter and water.
Commission spokesman for the humanitarian aid office, Amadeu Altafaj, told media persons that the organisation was expected to hand out more aid later.
