Seven civilians were wounded in a powerful hand grenade explosion in Habbakadal locality of downtown Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
"Militants tossed a grenade at Central Reserve Police Force bunker. The grenade missed its target and exploded on the road, wounding seven civilians. The injured were immediately moved to hospital and the area was searched," a senior police officer said.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the blast.
