President A P J Abdul Kalam on Monday expressed grief over the loss of lives in the explosions onboard the Delhi-Attari special train.

"The President expresses grief over the tragic incident in which a number of people lost their lives," a Rashtrapati Bhavan spokesman said.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh also expressed anguish and grief over the twin blasts on the Delhi-Attari special train.

"The prime minister expressed anguish and grief at the loss of lives. The culprits will be caught," a Prime Minister's Office spokesman said.

In a suspected terror attack, 63 people, including some Pakistani nationals, were killed in explosions believed to have been set off by IEDs in two coaches of the Delhi-Attari special train for Lahore in Deewana, about 100 km from New Delhi.
