5 ministers inducted in Rajasthan cabinet

The four-year-old Vasundhara Raje council of ministers in Rajasthan was on Monday expanded with induction of five ministers.

Governor Shilendra Kumar Singh administered the oath of the office and secrecy to Nathu Singh Gurjar, Ramkishore Meena, Kalicharan Saraf, Nand Lal Meena and Surendra Goyal at a brief ceremony held at the Raj Bhavan in Jaipur on Monday evening.

Gurjar, Meena, Saraf and Nand Lal were inducted as cabinet ministers, while Goyal will be minister of state with independent charge.

Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and several dignitaries were present at the ceremony.

Prior to this, the chief minister dropped Food and Civil Supply Minister Dr Kirodi Lal Meena and Minister of State for inance Virendra Meena from the ministry.
