The Municipal Corporation of Delhi on Thursday targetted 140 unauthorised shops in residential premises in Najafgarh and Central Zones of the capital during its sealing drive.
While only one property was sealed in Central Zone, action was taken against 139 shops in Najafgarh Zone, officials said.
The action carried out in Najafgarh-Nangloi road in Najafgarh Zone and in Ashram in Central Zone. With Thursday's action, the total number of shops targetted has risen to 1,582 since the resumption of the drive on November 8.
Meanwhile, two properties were demolished in Bijwasan while another was partially demolished in the area.
