First Look: The heat spares nothing

Blistering heat wave is sweeping most places in north India.

National capital New Delhi witnessed yet another hot day on Saturday, recording a temperature of 44.5 degree Celsius.

The temperature peaked to 44.5 degree Celsius at around 4:30 pm, five degrees above normal and the highest in last five years on the same day, officials at the Meteorlogical Department said.

Hisar in Haryana sizzled at 46.6 degree C, its hottest day of the season so far.
