Meher Bhargava, who was shot at by four persons in Lucknow when she tried to prevent her relative from being eve-teased, died in New Delhi on Saturday evening.Bhargava, 50, the wife of senior Congress leader Luv Bhargava, breathed her last at 1815 hrs at the Apollo Hospital, where she was admitted on February 28, a hospital spokesman said. She was shot at on February 20 outside Dalipur Towers -- barely 100 meters from the office of Lucknow Superintendent of Police, reportedly for protecting her daughter-in-law from the men who passed lewd comments at her.
