Amidst opposition from the prosecution that she was facing two criminal cases, the Delhi High Court on Wednesday granted permission to Malini Ramani, the key witness in the Jessica Lal [Images] murder case, to visit South Africa for a fashion show.

Vacation judge Justice Geeta Mittal, however, directed Malini, a fashion designer and socialite, to furnish to the court a copy of the bail obtained by her in the alleged criminal case in 2000.

Justice Mittal also directed her to surrender the passport of her parents, besides furnishing a personal bond of Rs 5 lakhs.
