Prime Minister Manmohan Singh [Images] Friday described as "fruitful" the visit of US Under Secretary of State (Political Affairs) Nicholas Burns as part of the preparations for American President George Bush's [Images] three-day visit to India [Images] from March 1.
"We are looking forward to Bush's visit as an honoured guest of our country," Dr Singh told reporters.
Asked whether Mr Burns' meeting with Foreign Secretary Shyam Saran Thursday was fruitful, he said, "Yes, it was fruitful."
