At least 49 people were feared killed when a passenger plane with 50 people on board crashed shortly after take off from Kentucky on Sunday, US officials said.
The only person who survived was in a critical condition.
According to Federal Aviation Administration officials, the Comair commuter flight to Atlanta, Georgia crashed just after it took off from Blue Grass Airport in Lexington, Kentucky early in the morning.
The plane crashed within less than 2 km from airport in a wooded area.
But bad weather does not seem to be the cause though there were scattered showers in the area, officials said.
FAA said it is investigating the crash.
