A Metropolitan Magistrate has issued a non-bailable warrant against Haryana Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda in connection with a case in which he has been charged with defacement of public property four years ago.
A K Sisodia issued the warrant applicable till October 5 and has also sent notice to his surety.
Hooda was chargesheeted on July 18, 2003 in the case under the relevant provisions of the West Bengal Defacement of Public Property Act, 1976. He was accused of sticking three posters announcing the staging of a political rally, on the boundary wall of a school.
