All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq will meet Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf [Images] in New York on September 17, three days after talks between Prime Minister Manmohan Singh [Images] and Musharraf in the American city.
"This will add yet another brick to the consolidation process of finding a peaceful resolution to the Kashmir issue," Mirwaiz told Press Trust of India.
Mirwaiz will be in New York for the Organisation of Islamic Conference general council meeting and Musharraf would be there to attend the United Nations General Assembly meeting.
